Pre-charging Investigation

When you are suspected of committing a criminal offense, you need an attorney immediately. During this time of uncertainty, an attorney can do pre-filing investigations and contact the investigating officer on your behalf. Too often we are contacted after the client has already given a statement to the police.  YOU HAVE THE RIGHT NOT TO TALK TO THE POLICE! 

Jimmy can contact the police for you, since nothing we say can be used against you.  Remember, the police are very good at getting suspects to talk.  Especially if you are NOT GUILTY of the charges, you need an attorney even more so to intercede on your behalf.  Two of the purposes of pre-filing investigations are to advise you of your rights and to negotiate with police and prosecutors. It is also a vehicle for showing the prosecution that their case is weak and therefore not worth pursuing.  This can save you thousands of dollars in bail premiums alone!!
